Halloween Fun

We had the best Halloween this year!!!  We've actually been celebrating Halloween here for the past couple weeks now.  Bridget and I took Ariel and the Ladybug to Treat Street at the MAC and they were able to get some practice in before the big day. Londons shoes kept falling off because they were a little big but they matched her costume so well so we had to have them. The girls had so much fun climbing thru a tunnel to get to the tent.---pretty sure the tunnel was meant for one kid at a time but they had fun and there is nothing better than hearing little girls giggle.

We also went to the zoo with Grandma Laura---we were told to arrive early because it is pure chaos and thankfully we did because as we were leaving there was probably about a mile long line just to get a piece of candy.  We bypassed all the candy stations so we could see the animals and to see all the other kids dressed up.  London loved this dog....

After the zoo London and I went to the Y to see my Mom and to get some more trick or treating practice in, but first we had to go upstairs and play....
Here is London painting her Barney pumpkin...
The paint wasn't really showing up so we decided to make a trip to the store to get some spray paint and that worked much better and was a lot less messier.  I am so happy with how it turned out!

Our first stop on Halloween was to London's Great Grandparents house.  She received a bag full of candy and also some McDonald's cash from Aunt Joyce....

London loves to play monkeys on the bed so she went into Grandma & Grandpas bedroom to play and apparently cats aren't big fans of ladybugs because their cat got London and scratched the right side of her face pretty bad.  It was pretty traumatizing to see blood dripping off her face but she is healing quite nicely.
Last year we made the rounds to visit all of the grandparents and by the time we left our first stop London was already tired so this year we decided to have all the grandparents over at our house.  This made it so much easier on us. You can see as time went on she was getting pretty tired of having her picture taken.

We finally began to trick or treat and London and Sophia weren't so sure at first but once they realized if they went to a house and rang the bell then they would get some candy.  I tried to hold London's bucket for her but she wasn't going to let anyone take her bucket, she had such a tight grip on it.  I'd say it was a very successful Halloween and Luke was even in town!
